Tek9 Dubstep
I’m TeK9, real name Samuel Bucht, a swedish 16 years old dubstep producer. I used to produce stuff like Electro and Dance music since 2007 I think. In the early summer of 2010 I started to produce dubstep, but I knew what dubstep was long before that since my friend Marcus Lindström (also know as mr Bratkilla) was producing it. But the first time I heard dubstep was on a local gig some djs had including Marcus and Daniel (tr4sig from Södertälje Massive Crew). They played hardstyle and that stuff but then all of the sudden they started playing filthy crazy bassy music that I never had heard before, I remember that they played Borgore’s Guided Relaxation which was just mindblowing!
At the moment I’m on a musical line at gymnasiet (high school) in Södertörn where we work with music production, playing in bands, working with web design and stuff like that.
My main DAW is FL Studio at the moment, but I’m moving to Logic Pro since that’s the program we are working with at school. I have also used Reason as main DAW.
